| IBAK PANORAMO The patented IBAK PANORAMO 3D optoscanner came onto the market in series for the first time in 2003 and its successor models now account for a significant share of IBAK sewer TV system sales. It uses two integrated scanning units (one at the front end and one at the rear end of the housing), each consisting of a 186° fisheye lens and a high resolution digital camera electronic. The hemispherical images taken by the two units at 5 cm intervals in the sewer result in 360° spherical images. From these, two different views are generated for analysis in the office - an unfolded two-dimensional view of the entire section and a three-dimensional view of the pipe which permits the viewer to pan the angle of view in all directions.
