The Marzek Etiketten+Packaging is a leading Company dedicated to the manufacturing of flexible packaging, pouches, sleeves and wraparound labels. The Company has just opened a new Marzek Group factory in Békéscsaba, Hungary, together with the commissioning of its state-of-the-art machinery, as the company said in its recent press release which was received by Lesprom Network.

The new flexibles plant, which operates under the name of M-Flexilog Kft, located in Békéscsaba, very close to the existing Marzek Kner Packaging Kft factory. This new greenfield site has been built on a 25,000 sqm area and with a new factory space of more than 8,500 sqm. The new site is dedicated to the manufacturing of flexible packaging, pouches, sleeves and wraparound labels. The overall value of the four-year investment project is believed to exceed 11 million EUR (12.9 million USD), as Marzek Group also received subsidies from the Hungarian government of more than three million EUR (3.5 million USD).

In addition to the fully automated color mixing system, the optimized workflow of the new factory is an automated 14m high-rack warehouse with induction loops for over 8,000 pallet spaces. The construction at the new factory also high environmental protection standards composed of state-of-the-art energy recovery systems and is compliance with the strictest safety and hygiene standards which is applicable for food and pharmaceutical packaging industries.
