The GoodMills Group, Europe’s largest milling company, has officially inaugurated the expansion of its state-of-the-art flour mill in Kutno, Poland, reinforcing its position as a key player in the European grain processing market.
Backed by a €25 million investment, the project has doubled the plant’s annual milling capacity from 140,000 to 280,000 tons, making it the Group’s second-largest facility and one of the biggest flour mills in Poland. This expansion marks a major milestone in the company’s growth strategy, enhancing both operational capacity and supply chain efficiency in a high-demand market.
“With this expansion, we’re strengthening our leadership in Poland while investing in long-term food security and sustainable production,” said Michael Höllerer, representative of Leipnik-Lundenburger Invest Beteiligungs AG (LLI), the parent company of GoodMills Group.
Poland at the Heart of GoodMills’ Growth Strategy
The Kutno mill expansion is part of a broader plan to scale GoodMills’ footprint across Poland. Plans are already underway to develop a fifth mill in eastern Poland, supporting the Group’s ambition to achieve 1 million tons of milling capacity nationally. With Poland recognized as one of the EU’s most robust and dynamic markets, the investment aligns with LLI’s vision for sustainable and strategic growth in the agri-food sector.
High-Tech Infrastructure and Efficiency Gains
The upgraded Kutno facility now features a daily processing capacity of 880 tons, powered by advanced automation and mirrored production lines that ensure consistency and quality. Key infrastructure enhancements include:
Flour silo storage increased from 960 to 4,060 tons
Loading capacity quadrupled from 25 to 100 tons per hour
Modern logistics solutions to streamline packaging and delivery
These improvements not only boost productivity but also enhance service to commercial bakeries, food producers, and the broader B2B sector in Poland and surrounding markets.
Commitment to Sustainability and Innovation
With sustainability and innovation at the core of its development strategy, GoodMills continues to invest in eco-efficient technologies that reduce energy use and optimize resource management. The Kutno project reflects the Group’s commitment to producing high-quality flour products while supporting local economic development and employment.
