German pet food manufacturer Josera, part of Erbacher the food family, is set to recruit approximately 100 new employees for its upcoming factory in Paproć, located in western Poland. The company recently celebrated a major milestone with a special event at the construction site to mark the completion of a key phase of the investment.
Milestone Celebration
The new pet food factory has reached its highest point, according to a statement from the municipality of Nowy Tomyśl. To commemorate this achievement, Josera hosted an event attended by the company’s management board and local officials, including Jakub Skrzypczak, deputy head of the Nowy Tomyśl municipality.
Plant Opening and Recruitment Plans
Scheduled to open in 2025, the new plant aims to employ around 100 individuals. The first batch of recruits is already undergoing training to prepare for their roles, as reported by the local news agency PAP. Polish construction company PTB Nickel Ltd is overseeing the project's development, situated about 125 km from the German border.
Expanding Production Capabilities
Josera’s export sales make up the majority of its revenues, with products sold under the brands Josera, Josidog, and Josicat. The new investment is expected to significantly boost the company’s production capacity for pet food. Josera offers a wide range of products, including wet and dry food for dogs and cats, pet treats, and accessories.
“At Josera, we strive to produce the best pet food possible," the brand stated. "We do this without genetic engineering, animal testing, or artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives, focusing on sustainable and responsible production. Our recipes use high-quality, natural ingredients and exclude soy.”
