Röttgers Ketten has been a recognised manufacturer of quality chains since 1919. From the abbreviation of the company founder August Röttgers, the brand name aRö developed into a byword for chains of the highest quality. At its location in Iserlohn in North Rhine-Westphalia, the family-owned company manufactures conveyor chains, slaughterhouse chains, sling chains, pump chains, hoist chains, anchor chains, lock chains and chains for playgrounds on the latest generation of fully automatic systems. A total of 2 million metres of chains leave the Iserlohn production facility in the Sauerland region every year.
All hoist chains, sling chains and corresponding accessories are tested, certified and carry the H-test stamp as proof of quality according to DIN 685. Our customers trust the special quality of our products and the reliability of the chains’ performance. We are your specialist manufacturer of choice for chains made of stainless steel when it comes to the need for durability and corrosion resistance. Röttgers Ketten is entitled to carry the international stainless steel trademark “Edelstahl Rostfrei” which first came into existence in 1958. Non-corroding stainless steel and rust-proof stainless steel have a chromium content of at least 10.5 %. Non-corroding is not the same as never corroding. In aggressive environmental conditions, stainless steel will also oxidise (rust). The French term INOX (inoxydable = non-corroding) is derived from the term oxidising. The term stainless steel alone is not to be equated with non-corroding stainless steel. It only designates steels of special purity. Terms such as V2A, V4A and Nirosta are brand names of companies.
| Chains RÖTTGERS supplies chains in all designs and in any assembly in a range of sizes from 2 to 26 mm dia. Wherever safety, reliability and durability are being looked for.
