A qualified and experienced team of German engineers work on optimised solution of new products based on customers’ requirements to increase productivity to simplify operation methods.
On the base of several well proven assembly groups we build special machinery adapted to customers’ demand.
We mainly build mobile, stationary and automatic equipment for world wide open and closed die forging, aluminium, rolling and steel making industries.
In 1961 Friedhelm Schwarz founded the Glama Maschinenbau. First he built machines and equipment for Forging and Steel producing industries.
In 1976 Glama changed to a limited company LTD.
Since 1995 Reinhard Schwarz is the new president of Glama Maschinenbau GmbH.
| GLAMA forging manipulators GLAMA forging manipulators meet all
requirements of modern production machines.
The manipulators have been specially designed for
the use with rapid-acting forging presses and possess
all necessary prerequisites for the integration with a
forging press and the automation of the forging
process as well as for a programme and computer
controlled forging procedure. |
| GLAMA forging manipulators mobile GLAMA forging manipulators meet all
requirements of modern production machines.
Since 1961, we have been manufacturing forging
manipulators for open die forging under hammers
and presses and for transporting ingots from the
furnace to the hammer or the press and from there
to the warehouse. Taking into account the latest
technical standards and increasing demands, we have
continuously developed our forging manipulators.
The compact design and manoevrability of the
manipulators allow to transport even in limited
space conditions. Thus, additional devices for
ingot transport are almost unnecessary. |
| Glama robots and manipulators Glama robots and manipulators are engineered
to solve tough material handling problems. Based
on an articulated boom system the GLAMA-design
results in the following advantages:
articulated boom system with mechanical coupling
(patented) so that straight line coordinates can be
followed using only a single drive per axis.
small dimension but large work envelope
robust design
fully hydraulic drive system
no rearwards collision space
low wear construction on roller bearings
low installed electric motor driven pump power by
hydraulic accumulator drive
actual value determination by absolute encoders
custom tooling designs |
| The tapping trucks The tapping trucks are designed for charging
and discharging furnaces in the aluminium
and magnesium industry.
sturdy design
sensitive servo-controls with infinitely adjustable
speed control for all working movements
integrated electronic weighing system to show
the operator the actual crucible content
hydraulically operated specific lever system for
linear movements of the crucible in horizontal
and vertical direction
independently operated crucible cover in vertical
and rotational direction
