Can-Am Chains was founded in Canada in 1966 by CEO Bob Gibb. We are the largest independent manufacturer of premium Welded Steel Chain, Sprockets, Wear Strip and other associated products. Athough primarily specializing in forestry i.e. Sawmills, OSB, Panel board, pulp & paper industries throughout the world, we also produce chain for a large variety of other types of industries with equal success.
Can-Am Chains has two manufacturing facilities one in Surrey, British Columbia and the other in Clackamas, Oregon as well as branches and warehouses throughout Canada and the United States, Chile, New Zealand, Australia and our European Office in the UK.
Over the past 50 years we have focused on improving the quality of each
individual item which goes into the manufacture of our product, which in turn increases the overall life cycle of our chains in the environmental extremes and heavy wear areas of the wood industry.

DIN 8187 British Standard chains
DIN 8188 American Standard roller chains
CAN-AM roller chains are made to our own very high standards, using steels especially selected for fatigue strength and exceptional long life. | |
