Filled boxes arrive either continuously or randomly and are automatically timed into the machine, using servo driven infeed devices. After application of adhesive, the top and front flaps are ploughed down using a series of fixed guides. |

Using a vacuum head, blanks are extracted from the magazine, applied with adhesive and transported to the forming area. A servo driven plunger then forms the tray/carton through either a fixed or adjustable female forming tool. Finished boxes are discharged onto a conveyor. |

Sequence of operation:
Cartons are extracted from the magazine, using a rotary pick off head and placed into the moving carton transport chain. Product is then loaded into the carton, using a barrel loading device and the carton is then closed, using a series of reciprocating flap kickers and fixed guides.
