Hungarian rivet and riveting-tool manufacturer Uniriv will build a HUF 500m plant in the village of Csepreg (W Hungary) where the company is based, Uniriv CEO Antal Pocza told MTI on Friday.
Mr Pocza said that Uniriv will build 3,000 square meters of production space in the first phase of the three-phase investment, followed by two phases in which the company will add a further 1,000 square meters of production and warehouse space.
The company, which currently employs 80 workers at its 3,800-square-meter plant in Csepreg, intends to train interns from the local vocational high school at the new plant, Mr Pocza said.
Uniriv will find out later this month if the company’s application for HUF 100m in EU funding for the investment was accepted, Mr Pocza added.
Uniriv was set up as a family business in 1991. It has a manufacturing and a trade unit in Romania.
