The US company Formlabs, a 3D printer manufacturer, is set to invest HUF 2 billion in developing its first non-US based centre. The €6.14-million investment by the company, which is based in Boston, USA is indicative of Hungary’s booming IT sector.

The move is considered to be a huge honour for people within Hungary who have been working hard to enhance the 3D printer technology within the country.  At present the Hungarian IT sector is expanding and now employs around 132,000 people, an increase of 19% since 2018. according to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
