Austrian-owned SAB Technologies has completed a HUF 655m expansion of transformer production capacity at its base in Vép (E Hungary), representatives of owner Anlagen Invest Holding (AIH) said at a press conference on Thursday. The expansion gives the company capacity to make big, 60- to 80-ton transformers, mainly for wind turbines. A grant covered 30% of the cost of the investment.
