Virbac, a global animal health company, has announced the acquisition of GS Partners, its long-standing distributor in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. With the completion of this acquisition on May 2, GS Partners becomes the 35th Virbac subsidiary, marking a significant step forward in the company's expansion in Central Europe.

Since 2000, Virbac has been present in the Czech Republic and Slovakia through GS Partners, which has been instrumental in introducing and promoting Virbac's products in the region. The acquisition of GS Partners is a testament to the company's commitment to the markets in these two countries, which are largely focused on pets and ruminants.

The acquisition of GS Partners will enable Virbac to strengthen its presence in Central Europe while responding more efficiently and comprehensively to the health needs of animals in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The former owner of GS Partners, Jakub Satrapa, will continue to lead the newly acquired subsidiary as its General Manager, ensuring continuity and excellence in service delivery.
