Bosch and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) have jointly opened an Innovative Vehicle Technology Competency Center in Hungary. The new center will focus on enhancing electric vehicle powertrains and is expected to introduce innovations to the market within 3-5 years, according to Bosch's local unit managing director, András Kemler. The center is a significant milestone in Bosch's 15-year partnership with the university, said Kemler. BME's rector, Tibor Czigány, believes that the center will take vehicle development to the next level.
