Russia’s Ilim Group is planning to upgrade its manufacturing plant for kraft paper production in coming years.
The Ilim Group is one of the leading pulp and paper manufacturers in Russia, the company plans to upgrade and switch one of its paper machines at its production site in the city of Koryazhma.
So far, the plant has been primarily specializing on the production of white papers and, it is planned, it will switch on the production of packaging kraft paper. The conversion will be completed by the end of 2022, and already in 2023 the capacity of the machine will be 70,000 tons of products.
Test production of new types of kraft paper was carried out during this year. |
