Industrial production in Poland rose 17.6 percent in February compared with the same month a year earlier, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on Friday.
In February 2022, sold production of industry was by 17.6% higher than in February 2021. Compared to January 2022, the increase was 3.6%.
The reading was higher than forecast by analysts, who had expected an increase of 15.5 percent, Poland’s PAP news agency reported.
In month-on-month terms, Polish industrial production in February was 3.6 percent higher than in January, the Central Statistical Office said.
