Stalatube’s facility in Lodz, Poland is setting to increase production in its stainless steel tubes and other product lines. New investment in the factory, plus a brand new production line based in Finland will enable the company to increase its capacity, reduce delivery times and have better access to the markets in central Europe.
The investment which totals around €20-million will increase the production of Stalatube’s processed products intended for the more demanding end-users like stainless steel hollow section, as well as tailored sized I-beams, etc. An increase in production for goods for the transport industry is also planned.
By utilizing the best of new technology and increasing automation the plant will be able to meet the more stringent environmental regulations and increase energy efficiency.
Jukka Nummi, CEO spoke of Stalatube’s commitment to flexibility to ensure the needs of customers are met. In addition, the company aims to completely tailor the products to the client’s specifications. This should bring about a reduction in the cost of materials and transportation and reduce processing times.
