In June, the prices of roundwood amounted to an average of 1%, according to the analytical service of Lesprom Network.
As report said, the average price of timber conifer per 1 m3 (pine, spruce) with a diameter of 16-30 cm and 4-6 m length in July was 2.6% higher than in June, 1 m3 hardwood timber (birch) with a diameter of 16-30 cm and 3-6 m length in July cost 0.6% less than in June, 1 m3 of spruce pulpwood species of 4 m long and 6-16 cm in diameter (1, 2 and 3 grade) went up by 0.7%.
Price for 1 m3 of pine pulpwood (mild) of 4 m long with a diameter of 6-16 cm (1, 2 and 3 grade) in July rose by 1.9%, price for 1 m3 pulpwood from hardwood (birch) diameter of 6-16 cm and 6 m length (1, 2 and 3 grades) in July remained unchanged.
On the spot market in July prices for the roundwood sawlogs and pulpwood increased. There also increased the demand for sawlogs is due primarily to seasonal factors - the construction season. The prices for pulpwood increased by the fact that loggers are trying to stabilize prices, or sell raw materials will become unprofitable.
In the Siberian district pine sawlog prices have increased, while the hardwood sawlogs declined slightly. Loggers steady demand for this type of material. Balance of conifers went up, as well as the price for the hardwood pulpwood remained stable.
In the Ural region in July, prices for roundwood remained relatively unchanged in compare with June. Companies celebrated the stable realization of raw materials.
In North-West District there has been an increase in prices for sawlogs conifers, due to the high demand for this type of material because of the housebuilding. Balance also went up slightly.
In the Central district in July coniferous sawlogs went up, the price of hardwood timber remained the same. Seasonal factor allows a quick and profitable sell of this type of products. The price for the pulpwood is also increased because at a price most loggers refuse to remove materials from the forest.
In the Volga region in July, prices for sawlogs have also increased. Prices for pulpwood remained unchanged compared with June.
