Relesys, the Danish SaaS company known for its mobile-first platform for frontline and non-desk workers, is strengthening its presence in Lithuania as a key development hub for its global operations. The Vilnius team is focused on software development, QA, and product support, with the company aiming to scale to around 20 full-time specialists by year-end.
After evaluating several European tech destinations, Relesys chose Lithuania for its engineering expansion thanks to its highly skilled IT talent, strong education pipeline, and rapidly growing technology ecosystem.
“Lithuania stood out for its world-class engineering talent, excellent English skills, and strong alignment with our culture in Denmark. The support from Invest Lithuania and the welcoming business environment confirmed we made the right choice.”
Paulius Jatkonis, Country Manager Lithuania & Head of Engineering, Relesys
Strong Collaboration Between Vilnius and Odense
The Lithuanian team works closely with the core architecture group in Odense, Denmark. While Vilnius handles feature development, quality assurance, and product support, the Odense team oversees platform scalability and long-term architecture. This setup allows Relesys to ship new features faster, improve stability, and deliver consistent product quality across markets.
The Relesys platform is used by over 400,000 employees in 97 countries, supporting frontline teams across retail, logistics, hospitality, and manufacturing.
A Company Growing With Global Ambition
Founded in 2014 in Copenhagen, Relesys built its reputation by creating digital tools that close the communication and engagement gap for frontline workers. After going public in 2021, the company was acquired by Copilot Capital in 2024, giving it renewed momentum to accelerate international growth and expand its product capabilities.
“What makes our work in Lithuania unique is that many local employees use our platform every day through clients like Telia, Vestas, Jack & Jones, and Vero Moda — often without realizing the app supporting their work is being developed right here in Vilnius.”
Paulius Jatkonis, Relesys
Future Plans: AI, Analytics, and Talent Growth in Lithuania
Relesys plans to enhance its platform with new AI-driven features, advanced analytics, and improved training tools. To support this roadmap, the company will continue hiring software engineers and QA specialists experienced in cloud architecture, modern frameworks, and agile delivery.
The company also aims to deepen its engagement with Lithuania’s tech ecosystem through partnerships with universities, internship programs, and community events.
“Relesys’ continued investment in Lithuania highlights the strength of our tech ecosystem. It’s exciting to see globally impactful technology being built in Vilnius — including tools used by Lithuanian workers themselves.”
Elijus Äivilis, General Manager, Invest Lithuania
