Mainly due to the effects of the war in Ukraine companies from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus have been relocation to Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Whether to avoid sanctions or escape the war, those companies consider a variety of factors in determining where to go. 3 of the main destinations for companies to relocate are Poland, Serbia, and Slovakia which all have a large number of new arrivals. According to a recent report Ukrainian companies account for 22% of foreign companies in Poland, to Serbia its mostly Russian businesses that are moving to the country.
