Norwegian industrial fastener manufacturer, Dokka Fasteners, is expanding its European operations and will be hiring up to 50 people in KlaipÄda within the next three years. Established in 1875, this company has been producing fasteners for more than 150 years which are used all over the world. They have already established a factory in Poland and they currently employ around 120 people there. The new facility in Lithuania will produce high-quality products such as screws, nuts, bolts and rivets with some production being exported from Norway. This expansion is part of their strategy to consolidate their position on a global level by offering engineering solutions In 2008, the company became a part of the multinational Würth Group, which had close to 80,000 employees and a turnover of €14.41 billion in 2020.
