Recent economics reports indicate that many international manufacturers are moving production from Asia to Europe, citing the COVID-19 pandemic as the reason. According to many developers in Poland, there has been a growing demand for warehouse space, with many manufacturers attempting to relocate their entire production facilities.
According to the CEO of Panattoni Europe, these are the first “symptoms” of a trend that seems to indicate a desire for less dependence on Asia and more accessible facilities. In fact, even with the coronavirus crisis in full swing, Pannattoni Europe’s demand for ware-house space around Poland has increased dramatically and plans to remain quite strong.
Earlier this year, Poland’s Prime Minister and President urged companies to ramp up their investment in Europe in order to stimulate ailing economies and help them recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
