The Taiwanese company Iron Force, which first signalled its intention of building a factory in southern Poland, has announced that it will be constructing an automotive accessories factory in Zabrze by the end of 2023. It is estimated by the Polish Trade and Investment Agency that this new facility will provide jobs for over 100 people.
The new plant is to be located in the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSEZ) and will boast an estimated cost of PLN 80 million (EUR 18.64 million). Its construction marks the second Taiwanese project handled by the PAIH since 2016, the first being the launch of the iTutoGrop training Platform.
"Thanks to the plant in Poland, we will be able to establish close cooperation with clients from all over the world,” said Iron Force VP Camden Lee.
Another goal of the project seems to be to promote mutual economic relations, as the agency and InvesTaiwan recently signed a mutual agreement to cooperate in investment promotion.
Iron Force is based in New Taipei, Taiwan, and specializes in making seatbelt components and airbag inflators and for the automotive industry.
