Leading Russian brand Kamaz is going to start production in august of Euro-6 Certified trucks for the Russian Truck maket.
Manufacturing of the new trucks will be at 2 sites its leading production plant based in Kamaz and its joint venture Daimler Kamaz Rus plant. The Euro-6 trucks will meet the standards for the Russian market.
Kamaz is planning to produce 36,000 trucks selling 29,000 trucks in the Russian market and export just under 7,000. If Kamaz reaches its target for the Russian market then it will have a 46% share of the truck market in Russia.
Kamaz is the number 1 truck manufacturer in the Russian market and in the top 20 globally.
There are 3 main shareholders in Kamaz reported on their website which are Rostec state corporation (47.1%), Avtoinvest (23.54%) and the German concern Daimler (15%).
