BIOMASA d.o.o. invests in a new stationary chipping plant in Slovenia
Pezzolato Spa the Italian manufactuer of wood processing equipment has sold a stationary chipping plant to BIOMASA d.o.o in Slovenia
Pezzolato chipping plant will have a feeding inlet similar to a mobile forestry machine, this plant is fixed and powered by a by electric motor 250 kW .
The log feeding system can take place either with the help of a loader with gripper or with the help of a mechanical shovel thanks to the capacious vibrating table (4 x 5 m) when working mixed wood material. In this case, the vibrating table transfers the mixed material to the vibrating channel (7 m long) which compacts it before entry to the drum, this helps avoid wood obstructions ensuring automatic feeding.
The Pezzolato wood chipping plants vibrating channel has been combined with a “metal detector” that detects the presence of metal before the material reaches the drum, thus reducing wear and tear.
