South Korean automotive companies are to create 300 new jobs in Hungary as a result of a €211.5-million investment. The investment, a result of the development of the electric automotive sector and investment in the health industry is unprecedented and makes South Korea the largest single investor in the country.
The investment is significant: Hungary sees one-third of its total industrial output within the automo-tive industry so it is vital to the economy that the country continues to attract these significant invest-ments to improve technology and create jobs. The industry has already seen an increase in 14% based on this investment alone. This is, in contrast, the trends in other countries across the EU and globally.
