Constantia Flexibles has become the majority stakeholder in the Russian company TT-print as a result of its strategy to increase its share of the pharmaceutical packaging market.
Russian packaging firm TT-print has seen significant growth in the last two decades because of the commitment and professionalism of the company to lead the industry and constantly improve on its technology. This acquisition by the large Austrian packaging supplier has been the next logical step forward.
TT-print recently announced that they had achieved the EU GMP Category D (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards which meant achieving specific goals in terms of good handling, raw materials, printing and packaging. The completion and validation of clean-room facilities mean that they can now package pharmaceuticals.
In addition to its role in Russia, Constantia Flexibles under the name Constantia TT, are now pioneers for flexible packaging, stable productions and clean packaging systems for other areas including Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
At present they have 2 operational production resources within Russia – Constantia TT and Constantia Kuban, both of which offer a range of packaging solutions. The company employs over 100 associates which makes them perfectly situated to provide several packaging solutions for the pharmaceuticals industry, and in the Kuban facility, they produce packaging for dairy products and other foodstuffs.
TT-print continues to operate in its Voskresensk facility producing blister packs and cold form packaging for pharmaceuticals.
