Tristone Flowtech Group has just announced that it has completed its expansion project and has also invested in a new plant in Walbrzych,  Lower Silecia, Poland. The hose manufacturer is based in Germany and has an extensive plastic pipes facility in the area. 

The expansion programme involved an investment of  €3million and looks to create space for new machinery.  Tristone, who started the work in April 2018, expects the expansion to be completed by summer 2019.

The investment increased the facility’s machinery and equipment and it is hoped that this will enable the company to access the significant market for its plastic pipe products.  The latest plant expansion will make an additional 6,200 m² of space for both manufacturing and logistics, enabling hose production capacity to double.  There will be an investment of €7.4-million in the new plant.

With its current workforce totalling 700 people within Poland, Tristone is planning to employ a further 200 staff in the coming two years.
