Subsidiary of Sistema PJSFC, the Segezha Group, has recently been listed in the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Trade report, “On Main Results of Activities in 2018 and Goals and Tasks for 2019”, which included three of the companies investment projects.

Segezha is Russia’s leading forest holding which incorporates the full cycle of logging and processing, and according the Government’s announcement two of the company’s projects had been completed in 2018.

The first was based in the Kirov Region and consists of new production facilities.  The LLC Vyatka Plywood Plant  received investments of RUB 6.7billion ($105million USD) each year and produces 100,000m3 of premium plywood annually.

The second project was a new pellet-making plant producing 70,000 tons.  The plant is named as  Lesosibirsky LDK No. 1 situated in Krasnoyarsk Krai.  It is said to have an annual investment of RUB 817million ($1million USD).

Other projects for future implementation are also mentioned in the report, including pulp and paper mills expected to produce over 900,000 tons per year with an annual investment is excess of RUB 90billion.
