Metrorex will increase, starting in February, the tariffs for the metro trips by an average of 8.75 per cent, declared the general manager of the company, Gabriel Mocanu, informs Rompres. “Further to calculations, we proposed to increase the tariffs starting in February by an average of 8.75 per cent. Our proposal was approved by the Ministry of Transports and was sent to the Public Finance Ministry,” explained Mocanu. The new tariffs will be RON 2.2 for the two trips card compared to RON 2 now, RON 8 the 10 trips card (RON 7 now), and RON 23 the monthly subscription (RON 22 now). The price of a one day card will rise from RON 3.5 to RON 4.
