Polish plastics manufacturer CKM Technologie has announced it will set up a new PVC window profile production facility in Zdunska Wola, Poland.
The company aims to invest about 23.4m zloty (€5.6m) in the planned factory, according to various media reports. The new plant will be located about 45 kilometres from the Polish city of Lodz.
CKM Technologie says it plans to produce latest-generation PVC window profiles with increased thermal insulation.
“We want to launch the new plant in Zdunska Wola as soon as possible,” said Tomasz Kecerski, board member at CKM Technologie.
CKM Technologie will start the construction of the production facility in 2012 and aims to complete it by the end of the year, according to company representatives. The investment will create at least 25 new jobs at the Zdunska Wola plant, and further jobs could be created after the factory becomes operational, Kecerski said.
The new plant will be located in the Lodzka Special Economic Zone (LSSE). In late 2011, the Polish company paid about 1.6m zloty (€384,000) for a 30,000m² site for the production facility.
Following the recent decision by Polish plastics manufacturer Izo-Balex to establish a new polyurethane (PU) isolation panels factory in Tomaszow Mazowiecki, Poland, CKM Technologie is the second local plastics business to announce an investment in the LSSE area this year.
Based in Lodz, Poland, CKM Technologie was set up in 2010 by a group of Polish investors.
