LONDON — EDA company Mentor Graphics Corp. has said it plans to hold a series of one-day events for electronic design engineers in Eastern Europe. Scheduled to take place in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria, the Electronic Designer Forums include a main track focused on PCB and FPGA design supported by a second parallel track covering analog, mixed-signal design and functional verification. The schedule opens in Prague, Czech Republic, on April 25, moves to the Hilton Budapest West End on April 26;, Hotel Caro in Bucharest, Romania on June 5; and concludes at the Hilton, Sofia, Bulgaria on June 6. Each day opens with an introduction to Cre8Venture, a Mentor Graphics venture capital initiative targeted at startups, incubators and venture capital companies.
