Forty Dutch construction and infrastructure firms are looking to invest heavily in Warsaw for the EURO 2012 championship games.
The business daily Puls Biznesu reports that representatives from Holland will be in Poland between 13 to 16 October seeking business partners in various sectors of industry. Camiel Eurlings, the Dutch Minister of Transport, Public Works and Water Management, will aid in negotiations between representatives of firms seeking to cooperate with Polish construction, transport, logistics and various other companies working towards organizing the EURO 2012 matches.
“The economic crisis does not affect this mission. The organizers are financially supported by the government to work with foreign companies,” stated Michiel Alberda from Eunite, a European Network on Intelligent Technologies for Smart Adaptive Systems, the firm organizing the trade mission in Poland.
Alberda added that the companies will also take part in the Infrastruktura 2009 trade fair.
