EGW Technologies is launching manufacturing operations for its innovative heating window, as reported by EGW Investment to the state news agency MTI.
The inventive window, known as EnerGoWindow, doubles as an energy-saving electric heater and can be the main source of heating for a residence, provided that 20-30% of the area consists of window surfaces, according to László Szentesi, the founder of EGW Investment.
EnerGoWindow retains all regular window features: it can be opened, the glass is non-glare, and it allows for the installation of curtains, Szentesi explained.
The window's production is set to commence in a factory located in Veszprém, situated 96 kilometers southwest of the capital. Szentesi estimates that the development of EnerGoWindow and the initiation of its production cost roughly HUF 100 million. For the current year, EGW Investment is aiming for revenue in the range of HUF 400 million to 500 million, he noted.
