EXPLAST Slovakia Launches New Facility in Nitra, Slovakia

In the scenic West Park Lužianky area near Nitra, Slovakia, EXPLAST Slovakia marked the grand opening of its new administrative and logistics center in April 2022. The event featured the cutting of the ribbon by EXPLAST's leadership team, including directors Miloš Sova and Ján Sova, along with Miloslav Hájek, who oversaw the project's construction, covering approximately 11,000 square meters.

With over 25 years of experience in the plastics industry, EXPLAST is a family-owned company specializing in the distribution of plastic granulates. The company’s product line primarily includes commodity plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and styrenic plastics, catering to a wide range of processing technologies from injection molding and extrusion to blow molding, along with specialized applications in roto molding, compounding, coating, and the production of expanded and extruded polystyrene. In addition to offering selected additives and color masterbatches, EXPLAST boasts significant storage facilities across several locations, including Brandýs nad Labem, Praha-Horní Počernice, Pohořelice, Nitra, and Trnava, facilitating the efficient distribution of plastic granulates directly from their warehouses. The company prides itself on accommodating orders of varying sizes, from a single 25 kg bag to full truckloads, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to customer needs.
