Lithuania's prominent cardboard producer, Grigeo, has announced significant organizational changes and a strategic rebranding effort. Slated for May, the company will transition its identity from Grigeo AB to Grigeo Group AB. Concurrently, the company is restructuring its operations by transferring its tissue paper business to its subsidiary, Grigeo Tissue UAB. This transfer includes a comprehensive set of assets, rights, and liabilities.
Grigeo Tissue UAB will oversee the management of this division along with a recently acquired tissue mill in Poland, a move that took place on March 28. This strategic expansion is set to enhance Grigeo's operational efficiencies and strengthen its market position in the tissue paper sector.
Tomas Jozonis, CEO of Grigeo, emphasized the necessity of these changes in the face of a dynamic business environment. "To remain competitive and efficient, it's crucial that we adapt to the evolving market demands. This restructuring will bolster our capabilities in tissue paper production, ensuring more streamlined and effective operations," he stated.
Adding to its list of accomplishments, Grigeo recently achieved the BRCGS Packaging Materials Level A certificate, underscoring its commitment to quality and safety standards. This certification confirms that Grigeo's packaging solutions meet the highest industry requirements for quality and safety, reinforcing its reputation as a leader in the packaging industry.
